  Zaterdag 18 februari was er een instaptoernooi georganiseerd in Vianen. Judo Ryu Rijkse deed mee met 17 judoka’s.

 

In het eerste blok deden Salomon Brouwers, Mick Hoenselaar , Sven Messemaker en Thijs Swart voor het eerst mee. Alle vier stonden met plezier te judoën en Salomon behaalde zelfs zijn eerste oorkonde in éénmaal.

Het tweede blok wisten alle 7 judoka’s flink wat punten te verzamelen. Esra de Boer behaalde haar 200 punten oorkonde en Cas van Oostrom zijn 100 punten oorkonde. Teun van Echtelt, Ronin Heij, Zoe Kamphuis, Huub Kesselaar en Roan Klazema lieten allemaal goed  zien dat ze al flink wat techniek in huis hadden.

Het derde en vierde blok werden samengevoegd en daarin judoden Floortje van Burgel, Zoey van Ieperen, Jasmijn Kuijf, Francesca Rietveld, Timo Swart en Tijn Buijen van Weelderen. Tijn behaalde met gemak zijn 250 punten en daarmee het fel begeerde beeldje. Timo Swart liet zien wat hij in zijn mars had door in meerdere partijen spetterende ipons te laten zien.
